The arid high altitude desert valleys to the south of La Paz are as unique as the ripping trails tucked throughout them. The trail beneath the loose rock and dust is often flowy, with some technical corners and washed-out gulches. Pass by donkeys carrying loads from farms, fields of cactus and strange geological features — just don’t get caught looking at the amazing views too much as you’ll need to concentrate on the fantastic trail leading to the river below, which weaves its way down to the Amazon.

With vehicle support we can ride until either your body or the lights give out. And to make what seems like one of the best days ever even better, we can finish at a local resort with natural hot springs for a well-earned soak and a beer! Sleep well, because tomorrow we explore even more technical trails in the area and if you’d like, hit your favorite again.
